Senegal, Morocco lead African teams at the latest FIFA rankings

RABAT, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) — Morocco has moved one place up in the latest FIFA world ranking released on Friday.

The North African country climbed up from the 29th position to the 28th, with a total points build-up of 1,561 points.

The Atlas Lions are now occupying the second position in the continental pecking order behind Senegal (20th).

Tunisia is in the 3rd position (29th), followed by Algeria (32nd) and Nigeria (36th).

Once again, Belgium came out on top followed by Brazil, France, England and Argentina.

Italy, Spain, Portugal, Denmark and the Netherlands complete the FIFA top 10.
