Manchester United lost little time in the transfer market after the conclusion of Euro 2020.
Over the past week, Old Trafford bosses have stepped up their search for priority defensive target Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho underwent a doctor before completing his £ 73m transfer.
The Red Devils don’t stop there either, as they are preparing to further strengthen their defensive line by signing Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid.
They also received a boost in the fiercely competitive run to sign Rennes prodigy Eduardo Camavinga, while Houssem Aouar was fielded at a bargain price.

Camavinga increases while Rennes looks away
Manchester United have received a boost in their search for Rennes star Eduardo Camavinga, as the French club may be looking for a replacement midfielder.
Camavinga, 18, is one of the most sought after teens in world football after entering the 2019/20 season and making his first team debut in France at the age of 17.
He has only one year left on his Ligue 1 contract and will be available for free next summer unless he agrees to new terms.
But it appears that Rennes are looking to recoup some transfer funds by selling Camavinga while they still can, as they have entered into talks with AZ Alkmaar to sign Teun Koopmeiners, reports Foot market .
Unfortunately for United, this latest update will also be good news for Camavinga’s other suitors, first among them Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
Recent reports have also suggested that the player would be more interested in moving to Spain to Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Trippier hoping to move to Old Trafford
Kieran Trippier is keen to end months of speculation by finally joining Manchester United this summer, according to the Manchester Evening News .
The Atletico Madrid right-back won La Liga last season but is in favor of a return to the Premier League two years after leaving Tottenham Hotspur.
The report adds that Trippier has made arrangements to move to Manchester and is a United fan as a boy.

The 30-year-old has one year remaining for his contract in the Spanish capital, where Atletico are under pressure to dump him.
A transfer fee of £ 18 million has been touted and the England international – who helped the Three Lions reach the Euro 2020 final – is confident the deal will be completed.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, meanwhile, has a plan to put Trippier and Aaron Wan-Bissaka in his XI holder.
The Red Devils join the Aouar race
Manchester United are part of a series of Premier League clubs aiming for a reduced-price offer for Lyon playmaker Houssem Aouar, reports ESPN .
The 23-year-old joined Arsenal last year, but the two clubs were unable to agree on an adequate odds.
The Gunners remain interested in Aouar as Lyon’s revised asking price is said to be just € 25m (£ 21m), while United face further competition from Liverpool and Tottenham.
