The 2021 Men’s T20 World Cup will begin on October 17 in the UAE, two days after the Indian Premier League (IPL) final.

According to a report by ESPNcricinfo, the final of the T20 World Cup is scheduled for November 14.

“Four teams in this batch of eight – Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Ireland, the Netherlands, Scotland, Namibia, Oman, Papua New Guinea – will then move up to the Super 12, joining the top eight T20I ranked teams,” the report further reads.

The Super 12 phase, which includes 30 games, is expected to start on October 24 at three locations in the United Arab Emirates: Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

After the Super 12 phase, there will be three playoff games: the two semi-finals and the final.
