Epic Games has just revealed an interesting series of new challenges for week 3 of Fortnite season 6.
This week’s challenges task players with everything from visiting certain map locations to eliminating players in multiple games to hitting players with a certain item from a specific range.
Here’s a quick look at all the Fortnite Season 6 Week 3 Challenges and how to solve them.
The new challenges for Fortnite included visiting map areas, eliminating opponents and more
The following challenges have been implemented in the game:
- Revive a player in different games (0/5)
- Phase 1: Search for a chest in Lonely Lodge (0/1)
- Elimination of Damage Traps (0/1)
Battle Pass Challenges
- Phase 1: Visit Risky Reels and Wailing Woods in the same match (0/1)
- Hit a player with a tomato 15 meters away or more (0/1)
- Complete timed trials (HARD) (0/3)
- Eliminate opponents in different matches (0/10)
Revive a player in different matches
This is a fairly simple challenge that is best done in a 50 vs. 50 games. Players should note that reviving multiple players in a single match does not count towards the completion of the challenge, only the first player they revived in each match until the quota of five is completed.
Step 1: Search for a chest at Lonely Lodge
Since many players will be looking to complete this challenge on the day of its debut, it may be best to wait until the end of the week to complete it, reducing the competition to face.
To finish it successfully, simply go to the Lonely Lodge, look for the crate and follow the signs to the next location.
Elimination of damage traps
This challenge can be difficult and time-consuming, often requiring at least a little luck.
Players looking to successfully complete it should keep their eyes peeled for traps and, after obtaining them, distribute them in a facility during the final game in locations that would surprise enemy players.
Players should try to put themselves in the shoes of opposing players and ask themselves where they might be surprised to find the damage trap, especially in structural places that are difficult to see and maneuver.
Phase 1: Visit Risky Reels and Wailing Woods in the same match
This multi-stage challenge should probably be done in a 50 vs. 50 games to minimize the threat posed by enemy players. Depending on how the Battle Bus takes you, visit the closest place to the landing spot first and try to complete the challenge early in the game as soon as possible.
Hit a player with a tomato 15 meters away or more
This new challenge is probably easier than it first seems, as throwing tomatoes at your teammates also counts towards completing the challenge.
To successfully complete it, players will need to obtain a tomato emote, unlockable at Battle Pass level 28. From there, players should team up with an ally or enter a 50 vs. 50 match and throw tomatoes at each other.
According to early reports, this challenge can also be completed by throwing tomatoes in the game lobby before you even get on the battle bus.
Complete the Time Trials
Time Trials are back for Week 3 of Season 6 and can be found in the following locations on the map:
- Just north of the rocket depot northeast of Snobby Shores
- West side of a bridge just southeast of Shifty Shafts
- On the western edge of the Tomato Temple
- Just south of Tilted Towers on the hill near the shack
Once the players have reached the timed trials, simply activate them and walk the course before the timer runs out. Players should be advised that they will likely have to build ramps or break down various obstacles to successfully complete each Time Trial.
Eliminate opponents in different matches
While it is listed as a difficult challenge, this is fairly straightforward and straightforward to complete.
The challenge, in particular, tasks players with eliminating ten opponents in different matches, which means that it involves a long time but can be completed without too much trouble, especially for veteran players.
