The Orange County Sheriff’s Office had a boat in the waters of Lake Down in Windermere looking for a 17-year-old boy who fell off a jet ski and never surfaced.
The teenager and a friend were riding the jet skis at around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 10, when both fell, according to lawmakers. Congressmen responded to 9746 Wild Oak Drive, Windermere, to begin the search.
The friend was rescued and taken to Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital in Ocoee. The search for the second teenager continues today.
