Saudi press reports revealed Al-Nasr’s interest in contracting Mahmoud Hamdi Al-Wansh, the first team player in Zamalek, during the coming period, to strengthen the defensive line for the world.
And the Saudi newspaper, Okaz, stated: “The Al-Nasr administration is still looking for a foreign defender to replace the former Brazilian defender Maicon Pereira, whose contract with Al-Nasr has expired.”
And the newspaper added in its report: “A number of distinguished players’ agents were addressed, most notably the Egyptian international player Mahmoud Al-Wansh, the player of Zamalek, whose agent was addressed to find out whether he could move to victory or not.”
It is noteworthy that the name of Mahmoud Hamdi Al-Wansh was linked to the move to Al-Ahly Jeddah during the last winter transfer period, but the offer submitted by Al-Tofahi Saudi Arabia was rejected.
The 26-year-old Al Wensh moved to Zamalek from Vanguard of the Army in the summer of 2016, and his contract with Al-Abyad expires at the end of June 2023.
