ENGLAND ended the opening day of the Ashes with 196-4 after James Vince scored 86 runs off before Australia fought back.
Alastair Cook only managed to score just two runs as captain Joe Root was also caught cold, scoring just 15 runs before the close of play.
When is the 2017-18 Ashes first test?
The opening Test started on Thursday, November 23, at midnight in the UK.
Day two is starting half an hour earlier than the opening day at 11.30pm.
That Test concludes the following Monday, November 27.
