What is the team news?

Southampton could welcome the return of Mario Lemina after an ankle injury has kept him sidelined for over a month – the Saints have failed to win a game in his absence.

Lemina would replace Oriol Romeu who will serve his one match ban after picking up his fifth booking of the season against Liverpool.

Southampton will also be without left-back Matt Targett due to a leg injury.

Everton striker Oumar Niasse will become the first Premier League player to serve a suspension for diving and will miss the first of his two-games out against the Saints.

Caretaker boss David Unsworth will also be without suspended midfielder Tom Davies while Phil Jagielka (groin) and Morgan Schneiderlin (toe) are questionable for the Blues.
