FURIOUS SADIO Mane had a bust-up on the pitch with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
The Kop star lost the plot after being kept on the bench for 89 minutes of the 1-1 Anfield draw with Chelsea.
Klopp tried to cool him down but the Senegal star ended up storming off down the tunnel as shocked fans looked on.
The German said: “I shouted at him because he was in the centre and I wanted him right wing.”
Klopp was at the centre of a furious double Anfield bust-up on Saturday.
The Liverpool boss let rip at the officials for refusing to let him bring on substitute Adam Lallana.
And the German was then involved in an angry on-pitch confrontation with fellow sub Mane at the end.
Mane threw a tantrum after coming on just one minute before injury-time — and let his boss know exactly how he felt before storming down the tunnel.
Liverpool were leading through Mo Salah’s goal against his former club, his 15th this season.
But Willian levelled five minutes from time with a cross that flummoxed calamity keeper Simon Mignolet — seconds after referee Michael Oliver had blocked Lallana’s introduction.
Klopp said: “I was angry because we wanted to change the system and the referee didn’t give us the opportunity.
“I don’t know what he was thinking at the time, he told me something about too long.
“I don’t understand it — how can a change take too long? We only wanted to change the system to five at the back.
“It’s not too cool to have conceded. It was a really good game and, at the end, it’s one point against Chelsea.
“There will be a moment tonight when I think the result is OK — but not now.”
Klopp had to placate Mane afterwards and tried to give the Senegal star a hug.
BT Sport pundit Rio Ferdinand knew exactly why Mane had lost the plot.
He said: “These are showpiece games. He wants to go out and show everyone how good he is. He is frustrated.”
