Once again, a possible £50million-plus Sanchez transfer to the Etihad is destined to be a right royal tug-of war. Even though the 28-year-old Chilean’s contract with Arsenal is up next summer it seems Arsene Wenger will dig his heels in again. And that despite the fact that the player will be available on a free at the end of the season. Pep Guardiola, meanwhile, wants to seal the deal that will improve his chances of landing the Premier League and Champions League double.
