Champions League draw: Live stream, TV channel, start time, seedings and match dates

When is the Champions League draw?

Once the group stages have been finalised the draw will be made for the Champions League last-16. It will be held on Monday, 11 December in at Uefa HQ in Nyon, Switzerland. The draw will start at 11am GMT, which is 12pm CET.

What TV channel is showing the Champions League draw?

The draw is being shown across the continent. EuroSport 2 and BT Sport 2 will be providing coverage for UK footy fans. Their programme will begin at 11am GMT. You can also follow all the action as the balls are drawn on the SunSport live blog.

When do the Champions League last-16 matches taking place?

Europe’s elite competition will take a break until the new year following this week’s matches. The eight Champions League last-16 ties will take place over four days. Can English teams draw each other in the Champions League round of 16?

Premier League clubs sides cannot be drawn against each other, or teams from any of the same countries, in the first knockout round. Teams from the same group cannot be pulled out of the hat against each other either.

Group winners winners will be drawn against sides who finished second (not from the same country or group as them).The group winners will also play the first-leg away. Teams that advance to the quarter-final can be drawn against domestic rivals.
